ReRoute Racing

Privacy Policy

Draft for review. Last updated: October 22, 2026.

ReRoute Racing is a racing game that builds tracks from real roads. It's made by Bradley Wynhof. This policy explains what the game does with your information. The short version: we don't collect any personal data. There's no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

Your level, credits, cars, upgrades, best times, ghost runs, saved courses, downloaded map areas and settings are stored on your phone. We never see them.

iCloud

If you're signed in to iCloud, the game keeps a copy of your progress (level, credits, upgrades, best times, ghosts, courses and settings) in your own private iCloud storage, so it comes back on a new phone or after reinstalling. That copy belongs to your Apple Account. Apple stores it, and we can't read it. You can turn this off in your iPhone's iCloud settings.

Your location

The game asks for your location ("While Using" only) when you look for places to race, so that places near you come first. It's read once, never used while you drive, and only used on your phone, with Apple's built-in map search. It isn't stored, and it's never sent to us. The one exception is your own choice: if you pick "Current Location" as the start of a route, that point is used to build the route, like any other start you pick (see below). You can refuse or turn off location access in Settings, and the game still works: searches just aren't ranked by distance.

Map data requests

To build a track, the game downloads map data for the area or route you pick. These requests go straight from your phone to the map services below. Each request includes the place or route you asked for, as coordinates or a search term. It includes your own location only if you chose "Current Location" as a start. Like any web request, it also includes your phone's internet address. We don't receive these requests, and we don't combine them with anything else.

Routes are worked out on your phone, from the map area you downloaded, so no routing service sees them.

Each service handles requests under its own privacy policy. The Famous Circuits and the Daily Track ship with the game and need none of these.

When it starts, the game also downloads a small settings file from this website. The file says whether the map services are available. The request includes your phone's internet address, as above, and nothing else.

Apple Music

If you allow it, the game plays your Apple Music playlists on the car radio. Your music library is read on your phone only and is never sent anywhere.

Purchases

The Full Garage is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. We receive no payment details, only Apple's confirmation that the purchase was made.

Crash reports

If the game crashes, iOS may give it a diagnostic report. That report stays on your phone unless you choose to send it to us. If you've turned on Share With App Developers in your iPhone's Analytics settings, Apple may also share anonymous crash reports with us. Those reports contain no personal information.

Children

The game is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
